The Joanne Kessler Children’s Dyslexia Center opened in the lower level of the Masonic Hall in New York City in early 2023.
Dyslexia is a learning disability that makes it difficult for children and adults to read, write and spell. An estimated 1 in 5 American’s have dyslexia regardless of their intelligence or quality of education. The center is named after Mrs. Joanne Kessler, a lifelong educator and wife of Grand Master Richard J. Kessler.
The Center will provide educational support, education and scientific research into the causes, prevention and the care of young people afflicted with this condition.
